I have been a member of the Lib Dems since 1991 (apart from a short gap) and have campaigned in more elections than I can remember. I was Agent in Harborough Constituency in the 2001 General Election and have been elected as a Borough Councillor for Oadby St. Peter’s since 2019.

All opinions on this blog are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of Oadby and Wigston Borough Council or the Liberal Democrats

I have a PhD in Climate Physics from Leicester University, then worked on traffic/pollution models and now manage and analyse school data in a local MAT.

I am a keen amateur astronomer when time allows. I think that the TV show Babylon 5 is better than sliced bread and am perpetually re-watching the DVD box sets.

“I am a Liberal because I prefer progress to stagnation; because I place the happiness of the many above the privileges of the few; and because I believe that disastrous revolutions are best averted by timely reforms” – George Osborne Morgan
